Have you seen the challenge on the Poppystamps blog for this month?  It's 'Spring Cleaning' time!

So if you have something old you could use hiding away in your stash, perhaps you would like to join us?

...  Or perhaps you prefer to make something Clean And Simple?

Either way, there is still time to play!

You have until 12am on March 28th, US EST to join in...  and a random winner does get a prize!

I've opted for a CAS card using one of Poppystamps older dies that IS still in stock...  the Powell Butterfly.

Want to know how this was made?

I've cut the Powell Butterfly from stamping card and simply used an ink dauber to add these two colours as symmetrically as I can.

Then I've created the smallest of ink splatters using this Twinkling H20 teal colour.  (For those of you unfamiliar with Twinkling H20's, they are a watercolour with added mica).

Once dry, I've simply stamped and heat embossed 'Miss You' from the new 'You Are Wonderful' Art Deco clear stamp set...

...  and I've added this Whittle Wood Frame using two layers glued together for added dimension.

To finish, I've simply attached the butterfly from the centre, and once completely dry and secure...  added a touch more sparkle over the butterfly ink using a 'Clear Overlay'  pen by Spectrum Noir.

The beauty of a CAS card is that it never takes too long to make...

Thank you so much for stopping by today. x
