Hello, sweet friends! I have a friendship card for you today, with Poppy's new die, 'Spring Pots Frame'.
I watercolored all the elements, as well as the background and frame, with Arteza pens. Here's how I did it:
I wanted to use the outside frame from the Garden Party Sidekick Frame for my card, so I simply cut out the inside and colored the frame with my pens.
The frame was cut from watercolor card stock, spritzed with water, and then colored.
The same was done with the Spring Pots frame, spritzed with water, then colored with pens.
I also used the same coloring technique for the basket. And snipped some blooms from a 2nd Spring Pots die cut.
Once filled with blooms the basket was added to the corner of the frame. And I added some Nuvo drops to finish.
What's your favorite form of watercolor? Do you like the pens or pans? Have you tried watercolor pencils? Such a fun way to color your die cuts!
Supplies
The frame die is awesome - I like how you fussy cut and put together you scene - adding other elements and the watercolor is so fabulous!! TFS and have a blessed day

Great card! I prefer pens but I suppose pans with a waterbrush aren't that different. Pens just seem easier.

The colors are so pretty on this spring card. I use watercolor pencils, I also have tubes but I don't feel I have as much control of the amount of pigment I use as I do with the pencils.
