Birthday Wishes! by Robin Tharaldson

My birthday gate fold card features stamps and dies from Poppystamps Spring Release! The release has several LARGE word dies and I Love them!! They include Sending, Hello, Thanks, You, Hugs and Wishes!! When I saw them I did my happy dance!

I used the NEW background stamp, Picnic Plaid, to create my panels for the front of my card (another happy dance). I stamped with VersaMark ink,  heat embossed with white embossing powder and used distress inks to sponge onto the panel! A few flicks of black gouache added a bit of interest!

For my word die cut I cut 3 layers of the word background from Neenah 110# and 2 layers of the word itself from black card stock! After layering them together it created a very strong embellishment to close my card. I used Thin Clear Velcro Fasteners to close my card! The following video will show you just how the Velcro works!!
