Time Out Challenges

Here's the Time Out Challenge this week:
I started by cutting a Harvest Pumpkin die from orange card stock. I added some distress ink around the bottom of the pumpkin to add some dimension. Next I selected a Double Stitch Rectangle Frame that was large enough to frame the pumpkin base.
I inked up the negative inside of the Double Stitch Rectangle Frame with Distress Ink in Spiced Marmalade and splattered it with Carved Pumpkin. I colored up a second piece of card stock with Carved Pumpkin to use as a matt behind the frame.
I stamped Peony Stems florals with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them with Copic Markers. I arranged the florals on a sheet of clear plastic to decide how they would be arranged before I adhered them in place.
I added a few extra leaves and a flower from a now retired stamp set to accent the pumpkin vase.
A simple sentiment is tucked in the upper corner of the frame.
