Daisy Frame Hello
by Jeanne Jachna

Daisy-Frame-Hello-Two
Hi and thanks for stopping by!  I hope you're having a beautiful day!  Today I'm sharing a card made with the new Daisy Frame die.
Daisy-Frame-Hello-One
The die is cut from white card stock and layered over a distress ink covered panel.  I wanted to put yellow where the flowers would be, green for the leaves, and blue skies in the center.  I started by inking the center with Tumbled Glass distress ink.  To avoid lines I inked the center with a stencil brush.  It lightly applies the ink so it takes a while to get good coverage.   I inked up the floral areas with Squeezed Lemonade from the outer edges.  Next I added Twisted Citron between the yellow corners.  It's always start with the lightest color and then add the darker shade gradually.  It's easier to add a little more color than to try to remove it later!

A Folksy Hello Script die made a simple sentiment, and a scatter of Stitched Fluttering Butterflies cut from gold glitter paper adds some sparkle and shine.
Daisy-Frame-Three
I added a Stitchwork Square Frame to give the card a finished look.

I hope you find some time to create today!

This is SO PRETTY & CHEERY, Jeanne! I LOVE that you used Oxide Inks too, to get those splatters! It adds such interest! The colors you chose are PERFECT with the Daisy Frame Craft Die! It says, "Happy Summer" to me! ;) SUPER JOB!!!!!!!!!! ;)

This is indeed a bright and cheery card!

Hi Jeanne, I adore the colours you have used on the background and how you have placed the colours, they complement perfectly the very pretty daisy frame die, gorgeous !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx
