Summer Blog Blitz! Large Lovely Koi
by Rebecca Keppel

Rebecca keppel poppystamps Large Lovely Koi Copic Colored Die Cuts card 1

Welcome back to another day of the summer Blog Blitz! Today you will have a chance to win the Large Lovely Koi die if you comment down below!

Rebecca keppel poppystamps Large Lovely Koi Copic Colored Die Cuts card 4

I cut the Large Lovely Koi die from smooth, white cardstock and then colored it with several colors of Copic markers. If you don't have Copics, you could use any markers that blend well. The idea is just to turn your white cardstock die cuts into colorful images with depth and dimension without doing any stamping!

I used the same technique with the Folksy sentiment dies and love the gradient look you can achieve by using markers that blend over a die cut sentiment.

If you want to see how I put all three of these cards together and colored the die cuts, be sure to check out my video here:

And don't forget to comment down below for your chance to win the Large Lovely Koi die, which goes well with just about any sentiment, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by!

What a lovely selection of cards...the koi die is perfect with the different sentiments.

Morning Rebecca, Wow !! I'm loving these cards and the colours are gorgeous. I'm really looking forward to watching you colour with your Copics, I really wish that I had Copics as they seem to blend really nicely.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Beautiful colours on your cards

Great coloring! Looking forward to the larger koi, as I make 5 x 7 cards. Two koi would also look nice on a square card. Thank you
