Easter Bunny Egg
by Nancy Penir
Hi everyone! I have a trio of Easter cards today.
Setting up an assembly line, and doing more than one card is easy breezy, when all your elements are laid out and ready.
Do your die cuts first. For my trio, I used pastel pink, blue and lavender.
With Memory Box's Floral Mask stencil taped in place, I then hand cut a traced image from Poppy's new Easter Bunny Egg from vellum. To keep it in place, I use a light spray of 3M Spray Mount, and press it down where I want it. It comes off easily when I'm done stenciling. The A2 sized card is then slid under the stencil. I wanted a lime colored bg, so I picked Twisted Citron ink to sponge around the edge of the egg.
When the stencil and vellum egg are removed, the card is left with a window for my bunny and Easter grass.
I really love going over the top for holiday cards, so sometimes there's no stopping me! Ribbon bow, a few sequins, and paper flowers, not to mention the Easter grass finish my Happy Easter card!
Oh and that sweet little tag? Pinpoint Main Tag, stamped with Poppy's Sending Love (For You) & a bud from Peony Stems and Blossoms, which I copic colored.
Oh yes, one more decoration... the Berry Sprig die from Poppy!
Hope this gave you some inspiration for a much anticipated and awaited Spring! Happy crafting!
