Book of Christmas
by Olga Direktorenko

For today's project I wanted to try a new approach to layered cards. So what would you normally do to create a multi-layered card? Just attach the layers with mounting tape. But there is another way to do it - I have basically bound the two card bases with die cut windows to create a book. It is standard size, has lots of dimension, it's totally mailing friendly and has plenty of space for hand written or stamped greetings.

Here is what it looks like:

Another beautiful project and a lovely way of creating layers without adding bulk to the front of the card too thank you for your ingenuity and sharing your lovely card.

WoW! This jaw dropping gorgeous! Love it! The book card idea is fantastic! I will use this idea, I love making layered scene cards, this is perfect! Thank you for the excellent video tutorial. The way you achieved your cutting exactly where you needed it and the stitching of the binding were exactly what I needed to see. The sentiments you chose are perfect for this card. Thank you for sharing this amazing card. It gave me just the creative lift I needed.
