Creepy Forest Scene
byJeanne Jachna

I hope you're having a great day!   Halloween is creeping up fast and I thought I'd make a scary scene to share today!

I started with the Creepy Forest Collage die! It's my favorite from the new fall release.  I love that branch with the curled end beckoning you to come closer!   Even the leaf cutouts around the edges resemble eyes watching you!
I added a big full moon inside the frame created by layering three circle die cuts.  The Stitched Hills die are cut from purple cardstock.
Whenever I make a card with a scene I think it's so important to add lots of details.  They bring the card to life.  The Doodle Jack O Lanterns have yellow light shining from inside, and there are leaves rustling in the wind.
Bats are emerging from their daytime slumber and there's even a creepy spider hanging out in the tree!   So frightfully fun!
I choose most of the colors for the contrast they would have against the black frame.  The orange sky provides great contrast and still works with the Halloween theme of the card.
Have a fantastic day! I hope you find time to create something beautiful!
