Huckleberry Gift Tags by Jennifer Svare

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am so excited to be a new member of the Poppystamps Design Team!  It was so much fun designing these huckleberry gift tags using the Pinpoint Main Street Tag set, along with the Holly Twig die from the new holiday release. To modify the design, I replaced the holly leaves with the leaves from the Viola Leaves die set. This tag features a swing-out card attached with an eyelet under the bow, so a favorite huckleberry recipe or note can be shared.  Two versions of berries are shown.

Instructions are on the step-by-step video tutorial below!

 Here is the video tutorial:

Welcome, Jennifer! Great tags. Love how you have used the dies and the idea of adding the recipes. Can extend that idea to all sorts of celebrations and make a real family tradition.

Pretty tag and making it a swing out card is clever. I enjoyed your tutorial.

Beautiful gift tags Jennifer!
Great idea.
Welcome to the team.

Congratulations! Love the creation you shared today and can't wait to see more!

Great video tutorial, Jennifer! I love how you used what you had and got more use out of your dies to fit your design! I am wondering what the tool was that you used to blend the ink on the leaves? Thank you.

Hi Jennifer, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome !! These projects are stunning !! I love love love the colouring. When I read 'Huckleberry' I immediately thought of 'Huckleberry Hound' hahaha. I love these colours too. I'm off to watch your video now to see how you created these beauties !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Hi Jennifer , congratulations and love your design the colours really pop and makes it really eye catching, thanks for sharing.

Don't think I have ever had the pleasure of eating a huckleberry. I am wondering what they taste like... a blackberry?

Gorgeous Jenny!!!!!!!! Love it!!!

Gorgeous, love the colors of the leaves

Thank you for the wonderful comments! Cynthia, huckleberries are sweeter than blackberries and blueberries. When picking early in the season they have the perfect balance of sweet and tart (those are the ones I use for pies). They are their own little berry that is unique.

Arlene, the tool I used for blending is a Brushstix by Imagine Crafts. I love them - they last longer than the other ones as I am pretty hard on the blenders. Haven't tried it yet, but apparently you can clean them with Staz-On cleaner, too!

Thank you again!! You are all awesome!

Hi Jennifer. So happy to meet you and I love the tags and also the description of huckleberries. I've never had them but I love blackberries so I'm sure I would love them too. Thanks for the great video.

Thanks Jennifer for answering my question about the taste of huckleberries. I like blackberries so I am sure I would like these too, if I can find them.
Beautiful tag, by the way!
