Beaded Daisy
by Sue McRae
Hello crafters! Sue here with a clean and simple card design today.
For my design I chose the Ragged Daisy die. There's just something so charming about this sweet flower. I decided to cover the flower with micro beads for a fun and different look.
I attached double sided adhesive to red card stock, die cut the daisy parts and pressed the petals into multi-coloured micro beads and pressed the flower centre, stem and leaves into gold micro beads. I really like the texture that the beads give to the flower!
Since I wanted the focus to be on the pretty bloom, I went with a simple design and used the Heart Pattern Plate for my background.
For the sentiment I took the Happy Birthday Streamer and die cut it once from white card stock and once from red card stock. I adhered the white layer to the red layer so that the red colour would help to give a visual contrast between the white sentiment and white background.
To finish off my card, I adhered the white panel onto a red card base.
Thanks for visiting with me today and happy crafting!

Hi Sue, This is a fabulous CAS card, the heart pattern background is one of my favourites, and the ragged daisy is a definite favourite, I love how you have added microbeads, truly gorgeous !!

Beautiful card. Love the idea of the beads! Very clever and a must try! TFS!!
I love this card. I love the affect you get with the micro beads
Gorgeous card! Did you use liquid glue or Stick It on your flower to hold the micro beads?
What a fab idea!
Nice!

so pretty, I love the beads!!
So nice to see the "Happy Birthday Streamer" die used on a card. Just seeing it online when I've been shopping I thought it was much smaller. Now I"m adding it to my with list. I already own the Ragged Daisy and love it! :)
This is a lovely card!!!!
