Cherry Blossom Tag
by Jeanne Jachna

Cherry-Tag-one
Jeanne here today! I hope you're having a great day!  The first thing I to do every morning (whether I feel like it or not) is take the dog for a walk.   Sometimes I'm cranky and feeling put out... I mean some days it feels like the dog is in charge!  But after walking  about a block or so  I start looking around and  start taking in the scenery!  Sometimes I see the funniest things.    The other day I saw a squirrel run up a tree (hard to miss with Miss Moriko going after the poor thing).. but he quickly ran back down and was chased by two Robins.  I'm guessing they had a nest in that tree.  Never mess with the momma!
Cherry-Tag-Four

This pretty tag is inspired by the beautiful flowering trees in the neighborhood.   They don't have much of a fragrance, but when the wind blows they shower you with little petals!
Cherry-Tag-Five
I stamped floral branches from the Friends and Flowers clear stamp set with Memento ink and then colored them with copic markers.  I always put a sheet of watercolor paper under my paper I'm coloring to absorb any extra ink that seeps out the back.  It helps prevent bleeding when you're coloring.   I kept a Tunnel Tag die close by to help me determine the placement of the stamped images.
Cherry-Tag-Three
The Spectacular Thank You die has there layers.  I used only two (the largest and smallest in the set).  I adhered the sentiment with adhesive foam tape between the branches.
Cherry-Tag-two
I couldn't resist adding a pretty eyelet from the Stitched Annaleigh Tag Decorations  - the scallops and stitches make this even more feminine.
Cherry-Tag
A second tag cut from soft pink, some twine, and a sprinkle of sequins adds more color and completes this pretty tag.  It's going to dress up a simple gift for a special someone!

Have a wonderful day!

I surely like this tag - Fabulous coloring and I love that eyelet you added as well - I have that thank you die - thanks for the inspiration on using it on a tag! Have a blessed week ~

Hi Jeanne, I envy you taking your doggie for a walk, I miss both my doggies terribly.
This tag is so, so pretty, and full of springtime beauty.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Fabulous tag, love the colours and the stamp. The die finishes it off. Xx

There is nothing more beautiful than cherry blossoms and you have captured this on your tag. I love the pretty pink eyelet you added.

A beautiful tag whoever receives it won't be bothered what the gift is and the flowers are so pretty too. Animals are such fun to watch and you are right you don't mess with any mama.

Beautiful.

Beautiful! Love the shape of the tag and your pretty coloring! Great stamp with the branch of flowers and an awesome Thank You die!

Dreamy tag Jeanne!! It's lovely and feminine!

I love all the stitched dies. What a beautiful finish. Great assets to any crafters cabinet. T xx

WOW Jeanne, what a gorgeous tag, how beautiful. I love those tag dies, super cute!

So sweet! Love the blossoms! Tfs

Gorgeous and delicate...and I loved my year in Japan!

DELIGHTFUL!

Absolutely gorgeous! One neighbor has a long row of cherry blossom trees on our street & it's my favorite part of walks puppy dog Fritz & I take. Currently, squirrels are really active & they drive poor Fritz crazy--way more than the cats in the neighborhood!

Very pretty tag, Jeanne! I need to put that die set on my 'must have list'. I have to walk my brothers dog a couple times a week (not by choice either) and sometimes feel put out as you said. However, I realize that both me and the dog benefit from it and as I am grumbling out the door, the fresh air reminds me how lucky I am to still get out and do it. Keep up the great work. Love your creations!

Tags are so fun to make - yours is beautiful

That's beautiful! Wonderful set, too.

Stitched dies are some of my favorite. What a beautiful tag. Love the colors too! Thanks for sharing!!
