Sun 16

Happy Easter!
by Jeanne Jachna

I hope you're having a fabulous Easter day and that the sun is shining wherever you are!    I love creating scenes with my Poppystamps dies and today I thought a beautiful Spring Day was just the ticket!
I started by cutting the Happy Easter Curve from white card stock.  Next I cut it again from green card stock.  I inserted the white die into the negative cut on the green and adhered it to a panel of sky blue card stock.  I added some Stitched Cloudlines for the sky and a sun made from Memory Box Open Studio Stitched Circle Layers.
To add some depth and dimension I added a second grassy hill by cutting the Dotted Curve cut from a light green card stock.
The Serene Rabbit is inspecting some Stitched Eggs.  I also added a Elegant Easter Lilly.  I cut the stalk from lime green cardstock, and then cut the flowers from white.  I inked the edges of the flowers with yellow and slightly offset them  when I attached them to the stem to give a fuller appearance.
A Butterfly Sprinkle of  flying friends in yellow and pink are fun and colorful.
It looks like a beautiful day doesn't it?    I made one more really clean and simple Easter card today!
For this easy card I water colored stripes of paint - colors you might use to dye your eggs!  and then added the Happy Easter sentiment in gold over the top!
Wishing you all the best today and always!

Morning Jeanne, This 'scene' card is beautiful and very spring-like, unfortunately it is the only spring-like weather I will be seeing today, as we have cloud and rain sadly, but this card has brightened me up. I also love the CAS card with this fabulous Happy Easter Egg script die, and beautiful colour swatches.
Happy Easter Day.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

What a bright, happy Spring scene you created! Thanks for bringing sunshine into my morning.

Very pretty & colorful cards; love them both.

I love the scene you created in the first card and those colors in the second card are just luscious together. Great with the touch of gold.

Jeanne ~ I LOVE the scene you created!! You are such an AWESOME inspiration to me!!
