Holiday Greeting
by Lezlye Lauterbach

Welcome to Poppystamps Blog! I have Christmas Card for you today!

I cut the poinsettia out of kraft cardstock and colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils for a soft vintage look.  I created the chalkboard look on my black cardstock by rubbing white pigment ink on it, then removing some with a baby wipe.

I used the same ink for the sentiment and then heat embossed it with white powder for a pop.

I love adding the chunky gold glitter to the centers as an alternative. Have a great day!

Morning Lezlye, A fabulous card, I'm loving the chalkboard effect, and also the use of kraft card and then colouring, very effective. I love everything you have used here to create this beauty !!
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Lezlye this card is simply amazing! I love the vintage look and chalkboard and everything about it! Your previous one with reindeer was also stunning! WOW!

Good morning Lezlye. I'm loving the look of your vintage poinsettia. I'm hanging out with my card making friends today, and will be trying out that technique. Thanks for sharing this wonderful card.

Oh wow that is Beautiful, I love the way the flowers turned out on the kraft cardstock and such a neat idea for your background!

That color on the kraft cardstock is just beautiful with its sparkly center. I love the chalkboard look and it really shows off the poinsettia.
