Snowflake turquoise card
by Ilona Zbieg
Hi all Poppystamps fans,
Today I prepared for you Christmas cards in turquise colors. I cut white background with a 1651 Pickering Snowflake Background craft die. I stuck them on the turquise background to have a nice contrast. Single snowflakes are cut from another die called Pickering Snowflakes and cut from glitter paper. The text and a bauble background are cut from glitter paper as well to make card shiny. I used a cotton to 'hang' my baulbe on the card. At the end I added some sequins
Thanks for visiting with me today!

You sure nailed this composition, Ilona! I've never thought of breaking up a cover-plate die by covering parts with different colors. Those two dark glittered snowflakes, that form a triad with the ornament, are brilliant. Thanks for sharing this beauty, and for showing me a new way to consider my compositions. You are an inspiration.
