Blog Blitz Begins!
by Jeanne Jachna

Bauble Tree One
What a great day for a visit!  The Poppystamps Team has been hard at work and we have another new release of holiday dies to share!  This is our favorite time to post on the blog  because while we're showing you the new products we get to thank you for being so sweet to us all year round by giving a gift on every single post.   We've got 36 new dies to share that I know you're just going to love.

Today I'm sharing the new Merry Bauble Tree.  I started with a panel of white card stock.  I die cut the bauble tree from the center and then added some Mowed Lawn Distress Ink.  I used a stencil brush to get it nice and soft.  Next I took a little extra ink, added water and splashed it over the card.  To get some sparkle and shine I added a splash of Fine Tec gold watercolor paint too.
Bauble Tree Three
When it was all dry I attached the panel to my card base.  I added lots of sticky tape behind the insert so I could inlay all the little circles of the Christmas tree.  Lots of the circles are the same size so you don't have to match up exactly where each circle goes.  The gold glitter paper picks up on the gold splashed background.
Bauble Tree Two
I double cut the Merry Christmas script sentiment - once in pink and once in red before adhering them to the Bauble Tree.   I use a needle tip applicator that I fill with Ranger Multi Medium Matt adhesive.  I use a stamp block over my die cuts to hold them in place while they dry.
