Birthday Frame
by Sue McRae
Hi everyone! Today I have a quick and colourful card for you.
For the Botanica Frame I took a piece of water colour paper and created a rainbow across it with paints, die cut the frame from it and adhered it to the white card base.
I coloured glossy card stock with alcohol inks to use for the sentiment and flower.
I used the medium and small dies from the Stitched Poinsettia Trio to make the flower and die cut the medium shape from vellum to add a third layer to the flower.
The sentiment is from the Happy Birthday Celebration Frame. I just snipped the sentiment from the frame to use on its own. That is one way you get more mileage out of your dies.
To finish the card I added a white enamel dot to the flower and scribbled over the Happy Birthday with a shimmer pen.
Happy crafting!
