Time to celebrate
by Ilona Zbieg
Hi all.
Summer still inspire me to create a light, delicate work: cards, layout, albums.
Today I want to show you the card in fresh colors. My background I made using 3 color with Ecoline
Ecoline is a liquid, transparent water-based colour suitable for many art, graphics and technical uses. It is quite handy as it is ready to use, dries really quickly.
When my base dried up, I use a memory box stencil and texture paste. Then, I sprinkled all with glitter.
A ready base I decorated with handmade flowers. I love new Stitched Poinsettia Trio dies. I will be using that for sure not only for Christmas cards.
Butterflies I cut with the tracing paper. I used black color text to emphasize it over the pastel mix in the background.
Have a nice day.

Hi Ilona, I am loving everything you have used on this card. A very pretty pastel background (I have never heard of Ecoline, but it is stunning), and those beautiful stitched poinsettia leaves are gorgeous. A very pretty, summery card. I love it !!

Oh, I love this Ilona! The beautiful colours and textures are exquisite!
Wow, that sure is pretty! And awesome and lovely colors.
Beautiful card! I like the poinsettias in the beautiful summer colours better than how they were designed to be used. Great creative use of Christmas dies. The background is beautiful and the transparent butterflies are the perfect embellishment. Thank you for sharing this inspiring card.
