Fall Foliage

We all know that fall is just around the corner so it's time to start thinking of wonderful autumn hues in our cards.

I'm using the new Oak Leaf Swirl die today. I started by water colouring some card stock and die cutting the swirls twice as I wanted to frame my sentiment with them and I sprayed some Perfect Pearls on the leaves for a bit of shimmer.

For the background panel I used water colour paper that I splattered with green paint. I then ran my Versamark pad along the edges of the paper, sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and heat set. Now there's a thin line of gold edging the paper. It's an easy way to add a touch of elegance and interest to a card and it ties in nicely with the the gold sentiment.

Thanks so much for visiting with me today!
