Blog Blitz: Majestic Maple
by Yoonsun Hur

Hello crafty friends, welcome to another blog blitz day! I'm showcasing the Majestic Maple die today.

To start, I made a shaker window from watercolour paper panel using the Majestic Maple die. I then die cut Majestic Maple from a separate watercolour paper 6 times. I adhered the maple die cuts on the front of the shaker panel, then ink blended on the panel with Distress inks using mini ink blending tool: Festive Berries, Abandoned Coral, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, and Seedless Preserves. I added water droplets and opaque white ink splatters. Once the panel was dry, I strongly adhered the acetate sheet to the back of the shaker panel, then put inside the tiny gold & clear star shaped confetti shown as the picture. I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape, then added the Swirled Love die cut on the front of the card.

Zowie!!!! Your card, Yoonsun, is spectacularly beautiful. Just that fabulous border is enough to make one stop in their tracks. The colors you chose and your expert blending are inspirational. (Looks like it might have been even tougher than usual with the delicate leaf edges on the die-cuts. If all that goodness weren't enough, the shaker element, and those amazing stars, make this card one for the books. Thank you for sharing, and for making me gasp out loud with glee.
