Birthday Shaker
by Sue McRae
Welcome everyone!
I have a fun shaker card for you today using the new Happy Birthday Celebration Frame. This frame is perfect for making quick shaker cards.
I started off by using a variety of blue watercolour paints and making a marbled background that I die cut the frame from. I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the frame, added foam adhesive to keep all the shaker bits in and attached that to a black panel die cut with the Pinpoint Rectangle Layers set.
The fun swirly stars at the bottom of the black panel was die cut from silver glitter paper using the Superstar Sash die.
I used the leftover stars from the Sash die to use as shaker bits.
I also die cut the smallest balloon from the Celebration Balloons set from silver glitter paper and used those as part of the shaker elements too. Of course I had to add sequins, confetti and beads to complete the shaker.
Thanks for visiting with me today!
