Peekaboo Shaker
by JJ Bolton
There's a lot of stuff going on with this card today, so let's get to it:) When I saw the Jourdana Collage die, I knew that it would make a great background. This dies works great with a colored panel behind it (blended ink, watercolored, colored card stock, etc.). But today, I decided to make a shaker behind the die cut! Here's a look at the back of the front panel. A couple tips about shaker cards. It always take more filler than you think and use foam tape to keep the filler in the right place. You see those 2 pieces of foam tape in the corners? Those will keep the filler from falling down into a spot that is not visible from the front.
This card also has a little watercolor butterfly. To get the look, I watercolored it, sprinkled on some watercolor powder, sprayed it with white mist, sprayed it with shimmer mist, and then sprinkled large hex glitter on it. Whew, heehee!
I used a strip of card stock for my sentiment, and then I added the butterfly just over the sentiment.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week! Thanks so much for stopping by!
