Blooming Thanks by Sue McRae

Hi everyone, Sue here with a water coloured floral thank you card.

I started off by using my Luxe Background die to emboss a piece of water color paper (just use your embossing rubber mat betweem the clear plates so the die doesn't cut through the paper) and then water coloured with some paints in different shades of blue.

I die cut the Hampstead Corner (twice, because I only used the flowers) and the Monterey Vine out of water colour paper and used paints on these as well.  

The sentiment was stamped in black onto vellum, clear embossed and wrapped around the corner of the background piece.

I finished by adding some gems and a bit of Wink of Stella to the flowers.

The vine is pretty with an interesting texture but I much prefer the way you have done it with flowers.
