Bellina Butterfly Collage.
By Pam Simpson

Hi  everyone, Pam here today.

On today`s card I have used this Poppystamp die "Bellina Butterfly Collage"  this cut`s  out of the card and leaves the negative behind, top layer in cream card adhered to white card,  at the same time I cut a circle to stamp through, with Open Studio Circle layers.

I first cut out in card for a mask, which I could add ink colours and shading through on my main white card, below!

I used distress inks in orange shades, dark at the centre butterflies, going lighter towards the edge.

Main card piece, I then adhered over these shaded butterflies.

Close up of these butterflies, I decided it needed something to emphasis the cut out, used a black pen to make random dots.

Next I stamped this beautiful Memory Box Sentiment in black ink, through the circle cutout, then I   cut a scalloped circle with "Stitched Scallop Circles" had to remove the centre cut out next as the die is to large to use together. Adhered this on the card.

Two Hampstead Corners to finish,  double cut the flowers to layer in up, orange and white.

Embossing folder from my stash for the background.

Glitter and black beads to finish.

Thank you for stopping by Poppystamps blog . Pam x

Absolutely stunning Pam.
I love the technique I might have to borrow it from you.

Very pretty. Love the whole design of this card.

Jaw dropping gorgeous! Just the inspiration I needed today. Thank you for the excellent step by step tutorial. Excellent tip about the black dots outline inside the butterfly wings, you can't hardly see it in the whole card, but it makes a huge difference. I will be using that in the future! The hampstead corner is perfect with the butterflies. The circle sentiment compliments the whole card beautifully.

Ohhhhhh, Pam, this is absolutely beautiful, the technique is fabulous and the colours are gorgeous, I love it !!
The little pen dots must have taken you ages to do, but so, so, effective.
Lots of love from Patricia xx

Terrific idea! Love it!

Love your card. Your random dots are spectacular!

Gorgeous, love the colors and the pen work on the butterflies, the corner flowers and leaves is so pretty too!
