Stitched Swirl Stem
by Sue McRae

Sue here with another fabulous new die from this release!

I'm using the Stitched Swirl Stem as a flourish with the new Heart Frames die. I think this would make a great card for Valentine's Day or by using different colours for the hearts it would be perfect for a wedding or anniversary card.

Love the stitch detail that runs along both sides of the image. It makes for such a pretty and elegant die cut! And the hearts from the Heart Frames set have a fun modern feel to them.

The Stitched Swirl Stem is inlaid and the hearts were pieced together with 3 shades of card stock.  I adhered sequins and a few extra hearts to finish off the card and used Wink of Stella in clear on all the small hearts.

Happy crafting!

Great card. You turned the die upside down and got a whole different look from it. That's why I love seeing what the design team comes up with. I always get wonderful ideas.

What a fanciful card -- love any die with stitching.
