Marcelle Flower
by Sue McRae
Hello everyone, Sue here with a card using wood grain paper and three dies from the new release.
I wanted to let the beautiful Marcelle Flower take centre stage on this card.
I die cut the flower from birch wood veneer, keeping the petals in the original birch colour and using a Copic marker to colour the stem and stamen. Love how well the wood took the debossing on the petals.
For the background I die cut a bunch of the Stick Frames to add some texture.
To finish off I added a few Tremble Leaf die cuts for a grassy zone.
Thanks for visiting with me today!

OMG....so glad to see this Marcelle flower on a card. I put it on my wish list when I first saw it. So pretty. And the stick frames you used for the background is perfect...not too much to take away from the flower. I saw that Olga used this die in an earlier post and I loved it then and still love it seeing how you used it. Great post...TFS

Hi Sue, The 'Marcelle' flower is one of my favourites, and the 'Stick Frames' is another, and they 'marry' perfectly in this gorgeous card.
