Gingko Branch
by Michele K. Henderson

Spring is right around the corner with this fresh new Poppystamps die, Gingko Branch! I love how detailed and delicate it looks on your projects! Now's your chance to win the gorgeous Gingko Branch die during our Poppystamps Blog Blitz! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post by January 19th! One lucky winner will be randomly chosen for every post during the blog blitz - - that's two chances of winning every day! Winners will be announced January 22nd.

I used the Stitched Octagon Layers from Memory Box Open Studio to create the fun shape of the card. Making a shaped card is easy. Simply adhere your Octagon Layer with blue tape onto a folded piece of card stock. Make sure the cutting edge extends off the fold, so it will not cut your top side. Run it through your die cutter and voila!

You have a folded card that opens up into a fun shape! Decorate the card any way you like. I used glimmering water colors and a few sequins.

Thanks for joining us today, and be sure to check back twice a day during our blog blitz to see our new release! You'll be amazed at our spring collection of dies and stamps.

Live your life in color!

Love how this card came together. Layering this die up in two colours and adding all those yummy elements works so well.
I do have a question though... How did you manage to get the stitching all the way around after cutting? Did you add an extra regular cut octagon and glue that on as a front or am I missing something obvious?
Lovely card, Michele. x
