Pretty in Pink

Hello and Happy first day of Hanukkah to all our Jewish friends!

I have been wanting to use this beautiful Poinsettia Stem die for a while. I chose to make a pretty pink one that could be used for ; birthday, get well and or Christmas.

I will stamp this card when I know what it will be used for.

I placed the “Texture Wave Stencil” over a piece of white paper ( cut with Stitched Landscapes)  as if I were going to use a die ( no pads ) Like I have said before it gives a nice crisp impression.

I layered it with fun foam then adhered  to the card base so I won’t have any problem stamping it later because it will be even, unlike foam tape.

I sponged white paper first then cut out the flowers and leaves. I would then go over some of the petals and leaves  to give  darker shading as needed with the sponge.

This is such a sweet card, Marybeth! I love the waves in the background and the glitter on the poinsettia is a beautiful finishing touch!

I really love your card. Love the idea of having almost finished cards on hand for those times that either slip up on us or when you need a card and are very busy. I do this with sympathy cards because, for me, it's difficult to feel creative when you're sad. TFS
