Dazzling Ornaments
by Sue McRae
I'm here today to show you how to jazz up plain ornaments with a variety of dies already in your stash.
The stacked Retro Ornaments is a great basic die set to have because you can decorate them however you wish, which makes them very versatile.
I die cut the ornaments from white linen card stock and coloured them with Distress Inks. From glitter card stock I die cut the Grendon Wreath, the Holiday Winterberries and the Snowy Scrollwork. The Grendon Wreath isn't Christmas specific so make sure to look at all your dies and see how you can use them year round!
Next, I chose which parts of the glitter die cuts I would adhere to my ornaments.
For the ornament toppers I used the bow from the Holiday Winterberries, the loops from the String Ornament and on the final one I made my own bow with metallic thread.
I thought a pop of red was needed on this card so I used red for the sentiment and I finished off by running a line of Stickles around the edge of the white card stock.
Thank you so much for popping by today!
