Merry Village
by JJ Bolton

It's almost December, but it's not too late to start your Christmas cards!  Here's an idea for a card that can be made in multiples, but will still produce totally unique cards.  The key to uniqueness is the fun watercolor background.  I used watercolor powders and a water mister to create this fun background.

Then I die cut my sentiment into the background and inlaid the sentiment just in white.  (Tip: To keep the inlaid letters in place, just back your panel with some transparent tape and then place each letter inside the die cut.)

The row of houses is one die, so it's so easy to make a whole village.  The only extra step was to add a piece of yellow paper behind one of the open windows.  Then I just applied all the houses with a bit of foam tape and that was it!  I hope you are having a wonderful, handmade season!
