Merry & Bright by Sue McRae

Welcome to a very bright and happy card today!

I went a little crazy die cutting and inking up the Evergreen Trees with Distress Ink. I had coloured so many I decided to make a vivid forest to go with the You Melt My Heart Snowman.

For the snowman I glittered card stock, stamped the snowman onto the glittered paper and coloured in his nose, scarf and buttons with markers. I also gave him a glittery top hat to complete his ensemble.

The background was made with Distress Inks. Then I swiped white pigment ink randomly across to create the sky and I flicked on water droplets and white paint to create the falling snow.

I used the Merry & Bright Channel Die to provide the sentiment and ground the scene. Don't you just love these channel dies? Poppystamps has a few of these dies which you can check out here.
