Snowy Xmas by Ilona Zbieg

Hi,

Yesterday we announced the winners of our blog blitz.

Congratulations to all the winners and thank you for your time.

Now it is a time for the fresh inspiration. As you can see most of the blogs are covered with winter/snow themes. Today I did something similar but I break a law here using colors that normally are not the ones you would use for winter time cards.

Backgrounds I made myself with water paints.

I really love Stitched Star Cutouts craft die and Stitched Snowflake Cutouts craft die so I use them quite often in my projects. In this work I used both dies on the same card. Text is the newest Memwhite snowy Xmasory Box stamp which is white embossing. We don't have that much snow here in Ireland and even if we got some it wouldn't last long. I really miss white snowy Xmas liek we had in Poland.

Morning Ilona, I love these colours, they are 'cold' colours so they work really well for snowflakes, I love this card.

It may not be traditional Christmas colors, but it looks like a traditional Florida winter ... green grass & blue skies (we don't get ANY snow here). Your card is gorgeous!
