Exquisite Branch Frame
by Sue McRae

Welcome to another day of our blog blitz. I'm using the new Exquisite Branch Frame for an acetate Christmas card.

I die cut the frame from white card stock, masked off the edges and used Distress Inks in shades of green to colour the tree. I added glue to the leaves and sprinkled on some Prismacolour Glitter and adhered the frame to the front of an acetate note card.

For the inside panel I took white card stock and coloured it with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. After it was dry I placed the Memory Box Starry Nights Stencil on top and used a dauber to add Versamark ink to the stars. Then I added clear glitter embossing powder and heat set it. I finished off by inking up the Free Hand Merry Christmas sentiment in shades of blue.

I don't make acetate cards very often but I love how this turned out with the sparkly stars peeking out from behind the branches of the tree. The only problem I had was getting decent photos of the card!

Thanks for stopping by. Please leave a comment for a chance to win the Exquisite Branch Frame Die. Make sure to come back twice a day during the blog blitz to see all the fabulous projects by the design team!

Like the die, lots of possibilities for it. Like the coloring on the blue part of it, too.

Wow is that ever unique and gorgeous! I especially love the color combo, the ombre effect on the tree and the sentiment, and the fact that you have enough dedication to work that hard on a card. Great job!
