Snowy Country Houses.

Hi everyone Pam here today..

Christmas card..but would do any occasions this pretty "Country Houses Die". 

 

 

I have used Poppystamps  "Country Houses". "Roofs & Background"  made my frame with Memory Box "Open  Studio Square Layers" .. 

Love this snow effect, using Stampendous Chunky White Embossing Enamel.. (think I went a touch mad with it LOL) .

 

 

For those of you who have not done this technique really is easy. you need a heat tool that has gentle heat so it does not blow  the powder off.. 

Method: sprinkle the chunky white powder where you would like snow.. hold your work with self closing tweezers (it gets very hot) Heat from underneath so powder does not blow away. 

This is the powder melted, I did add a lot more later. Background of the houses I coloured with distress inks.

 

I have done this snow effect on all the background..Stitched Evergreen Trees, a touch of Crystal Stickles.

Finished with a couple of snowflakes and vintage Merry Christmas.

Hi Pam, This is stunning, I always love your 'scene' cards and this is stunning, I especially like the two frames, the centre frame immediately draws the eye to the beautiful country houses. Gorgeous.
