Sue here, featuring the Snowflake Ribbon die from the new Poppystamps release! I hope you've been visiting all week and leaving comments on all the posts for your chance to win the featured die!
My focus on this card was using Alcohol Inks. For the background I swiped a few ink colours across glossy card stock and used translucent embossing paste with the Memory Box Stars Shimmer Stencil on top. While the embossing paste was still wet I added prisma glitter for a little holiday sparkle.
I die cut one Snowflake Ribbon from glossy card stock that I coloured with Alcohol Inks and the second Snowflake Ribbon was die cut from white textured pearl card stock. These were adhered ontop of and offset of each other.
For the sentiment, I watercoloured paper, sprayed it with Perfect Pearls and die cut the Merry Ornament die twice and trimmed off the hanging ornament as I only wanted the sentiment.
The colourful edges of the card are strips cut from the paper I used for the Snowflake Ribbon.
Make sure to come by the Poppystamps blog every day to check out the fab inspiration by the design team! The blog blitz ends on July 26th and you can comment until July 29th for a chance to win a prize.
Have a wonderful day!
