Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made featuring several of the new dies! My favorite from the new release are the Main Street Tags. I love tags and think they look fabulous on cards as well as a base for layering.
I started with a background I embossed with the Majestra Background die. The design is so intricate and it's beautiful when you die cut it or simply emboss like I did. I added a little Glossy Accents to the cake layers and sprinkled on some glitter (sugar)!
The Cake Frosting Bags are a fun way to make sentiments look like they were just piped - if only I could write this pretty with real frosting! The sentiment is from the Vintage Happy Thanksgiving die. You'll be using this die all year just for the pretty "Happy" die in the set.
By adhering the tag with adhesive foam tape I was able to add dimension so I could slip some gems under the tag to add interest. Don't you love the little flower eyelet from the Stitched Annaleigh Tag Decorations? They really dress up the tag!
The Party Balloons and Cake work beautifully with the Stitched Cake Plate Die. There are two size cake plates in the set so you can customize them for your projects!

I, too, love tags, especially big, fancy ones on gifts. I probably spent more time last Christmas making my tags as I did my cards. They were a hit....thanks, in part, to some wonderful dies.
