Hello Again

I am always in need of Note Cards.  Yes, I do send tons of emails, but there are times when  paper cards are appreciated.  For this card, I wanted to use scraps left over from other projects.  The base of the card is a half sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 and the green bits are all cut from a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece.  I used a piece of white 4 x 5 1/4 , which I die cut and then embossed.  The ribbon is a piece that I've had for quite some time.  When I saw it, I loved it, even though I had absolutely no idea how I would use it.  The ribbon wasn't quite wide enough, but it was easy to butt the edges together for a nearly seamless edge.

Here's a picture of what my desk looked like prior to assembly....

I drop cut the center from the green piece of 4  x 5 1/4 leaving an approximate 3/8 inch border.    I used a portion of the removed piece to die cut the Flower Stack and the word hello from the Hello background.  I used double stick tape to adhere the ribbon and then glued everything in place.   There is nothing on the inside of this card, I may add bits that I will cut from the Mod Hex Background.  I still have a bit of green that will give me plenty to decorate the inside.  I need to not overdo as I do need space for a longish note.

Well, now you know how I made this card.  I hope you find a bit of time today to play with paper.  Until next time.  Happy Crafting.....and remember to.....
