Flower Stack Smile

Smile2
Jeanne here today ! I hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  Summer means longer days and more time to get things done!  I've got the garden planted, and now time to sit back and watch it grow!  I just got my hands on the new flower stack die and thought I'd  have some flowers in my craft room too!

I started with the stencil background.  I used Memory Box Sprinkle Dots stencil, taped it over some aqua blue card stock and applied a Light Molding Paste.   When I got a good coverage of paste I removed the stencil, and while the paste was still wet, I sprinkled glitter on it to create this sparkly background.

The flower stack comes with one solid flower die, and a grouping of three flowers with detailed die cuts.  The different patterns (dots, stripes, and open window) make these fun and whimsical.  I added some darker yellow cardstock inlays to the open flower, and gems for flower centers!  I double cut the "Smile" sentiment to make it pop off the page.

I love all that sparkle and shine!

I hope you'll try adding some glitter next time you paste over your favorite stencil - it's sure to make you smile!

Great card. I love how you backed the pink "smile" with a darker color to create depth and shadow effect. TFS
