Hello Poppystamps fans!
I have a card to share today featuring some of the newest Poppystamps dies, Marina Sailboats and Kirby Blooms.
I started with a piece of watercolor paper 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and sponged some Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers distress ink on it, and spritzed it with water. I glued this flat down to an A2 top fold white card base. Next, using the Memory Box Studio Circle layers dies, I cut a white circle out of the middle of a piece of white cardstock 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.
I then grabbed the next larger size circle die and cut circles out of two shades of blue card stock for my waves. I used the waves die that comes with Marina Sailboats to cut the waves out of my blue circles. I cut the darker blue waves just a bit shorter than the light ones, so I could layer them where they would both be seen. I glued both of these to the back of my white piece of card stock with the hole cut out.
Next, I cut out the Andorra corner die from white card stock and cut half of it off and glued it down to the panel with the distress ink. I then adhered the panel with the circle cut out and waves down to the inked card base.
I then cut two of the sailboats out of white card stock. I colored the sails on one with my Copic markers. I cut the bottom part off and layered the colored sails on top of the white boat just a little bit off so you could still see the white underneath a bit. I glued that down with foam tape in the circle cutout.
Lastly I cut out some greenery from the Dianna Border and glued that flat to the white panel. I cut the flowers from Kirby Blooms and colored them with my Copic Markers. I cut the stems off and adhered the flower tops with foam tape to the edge of the circle cutout.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today! Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great week!
