New Release Blog Blitz Begins!
What a great day for a visit! This is the first day of our blog blitz! We're showing projects made with the new release and offering you a chance to win one of your own on every post from April 13 through April 25!!
I'm so excited to share that we've added some clear stamp sets! There are six new sets - here's a peek at the ones featuring woodland animals. The other two sets include lots of clever sentiments that are perfect to pair up with these cuties.
I love them all but today I'm showing "A Fox Tale"! I started with the clock face and stamped the little fox around it in a circle. I colored them with Copic markers and then added the sentiment. I have the top panel popped up with adhesive foam tape to allow the brad that holds the arrow spinner room to move freely. The little arrow spinner is from Tim Holtz.
The new stamps have companion dies, but I just fussy cut this little guy for my second card.
A few little trixie things I did here... I masked off two of the branches from the tree stamp, and attached the leafy branch that's separate. (The tree is part of the Cover Squirrel set.) I stamped the swing using a stamp a ma jig for perfect placement. After I colored the tree with Copics I covered the colored area with with liquid frisket as a mask. Then I inked up the puffy cloud border with distress ink, moving the stamp every inch or so to create the cloudy sky. When the sky was dry I just rubbed the frisket off to reveal the Copic coloring underneath. Then I stamped the sentiment, and attached the fussy cut fox with craft glue.
These stamps are so cute and have so many possibilities! Want to win "A Fox Tale" stamp set? Just leave me a comment by April 28! One random commenter will be selected to receive this stamp set. Winners will be posted on this blog on April 30! Check back regularly - there will be a prize on every post during the blog blitz - today through April 25!
