Hello! Marybeth here and welcome to day 5 on of the Blog Blitz. We are showcasing all the new spring products and new stamps.
For the background I did some smooshing. All you do is add some ink to a piece of clear acetate, spray it with mist of water, place your card base face down and smoosh( smooth over it) with your finger and your done.
I misplaced my original photos from the fire on my card so I recreated it so I could show you how I blended my inks for the fire pit. I am sure there are many ways to do this but this worked for me. For this smaller image I use a small dauber sponge.
There are matching dies for this set but I fussy cut all the images and sponged the ink on paper and then stamped. I added Glossy Accents at the end and kinda wish I left it alone. The clouds and leaves are from Cover Squirrel stamp set.
