The title of this post is "Nothing Easier...Honest!" and Honestly this card is the easiest. Here's what the card looks like unassembled....
The base of this card is a quarter fold....see easy....I cut 2 pieces of white card stock to 4 x 5 1/4 and on one of the pieces I die cut the Josefina butterfly. Then I ran both white pieces through an embossing folder. I then cut 2 pieces of pink card stock to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. Then I added the ribbon and buckle to the outside and the ribbon to the inside. After that, glued the pieces in place. Still easy? Yes it is!
Using a scrap piece of white card stock I die cut the Princess Butterfly and from a scrap of pink card stock I cut the frame for the inside of the card and using a scrap of pink I die cut the Vintage Happy Birthday. I then glued these pieces in place and cut a scrap piece of white card stock to use for stamping a sentiment or writing a note. I added bling and punched butterflies and this card is ready for mailing.
Here's what the inside looks like:
I do have to tell you one change...I added pink stamen to the butterfly as antenna. Took a photo and.....Now I'm finished!
I plan to make several of these cards in different colors. I'll leave off the sentiment die on the front. I will store a piece of the colored card stock inside, so when I'm ready to use the card, I'll have a piece of matching card stock for the sentiment and I won't have to go looking for it.
Now do you believe me? this card was E A S Y! Well off I go, hope you give this little card a try and if you do, would you share it with me. I'd love to post it.
Take care, Have a wonderful week, and I'll see you soon.
Hugs from my world to yours......
