Greetings Poppystamps fans! Although it doesn't quite feel like Spring outside, or even look like it, I know it's just around the corner and I'm feeling it! I made a pretty spring card with one of the new Poppystamps dies called Garden Bouquet. It is such a pretty die and it comes with extra flowers, you can layer over the ones in the group or scatter around on your card!
This card was really pretty easy to put together. I started with a piece of watercolor paper just a bit smaller than my card base. I started by embossing the die into the paper using my Big Shot and the tan embossing mat. Next, I used the embossed pattern as a guide to put my watercoloring. I colored in all of the flowers and leaves, and then a little around the edges.
Next, I cut out two of the Garden Bouquet dies, and carefully lining them up with the embossed impression, I glued them over my watercolored piece. I then cut out the Thank You die sentiment, and glued that up in the top left corner. Lastly, I adhered the whole watercolor paper panel to an A2 size top folded card.
This card was really pretty quick and easy not to mention fun! I thought it resembled watercoloring over heat embossed images, and turned out rather neat looking :)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
