Frisky Squirrel Valentine

Jeanne here today!  Just having fun in my crafty space trying to escape the cold winter wind outside!  The Chicago area got hit heavy with snow yesterday and I'm more than happy to stay inside today and play!

I fell in love with the Grendon Wreath at first site.  So what could be more fun than a handful of little squirrels running along the edge playing games?  

The hearts behind the two squirrels in the center is from the Heart Word Balloon.  I just added a sprinkle of gems.

I cut the wreath from a natural cardstock panel.  I love the little flecks of wood fiber in the paper.  Next I matted that on a colored card stock panel.  I inserted a light green cut wreath and adhered it with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen.   It's great for small close spaces.  I love the way the darker colored panel shows through the die cut holes.

The love word sentiment was cut from the Love Word Balloon die.  It was just the perfect size!

Oh gosh Jeanne, this is SO adorable! I thought that die had to be for fall, but it looks so cute in the bright green and used for a Valentines card!! Totally love this!!
