Mod Watercolor Squares
Hi , I hope you are enjoying all the new Spring dies from Poppystamps. I chose this fun new die : Mod Square Background.
Each day you have a chance to win one of the dies featured in the cards, all you have to do is leave a comment on any of the die you are interested in winning. The Blitz is from Jan 12- 27 and you have until Jan 31 to leave a comment.
Sorry for the blurry picture, I wanted you to see my painted cardstock. After my watercolor dried I cut the squares out. Or you can use the heat gun if you don't want to wait.
To make sure the dies lined up correctly I taped the negative to my card, then glued the colored dies in place. I also added layers to my cut squares some are two or three layers thick.
Then I carefuly lifted up .

Great and interesting card. I'm so excited about the new release...I'm a die addict. LOL I'm not naturally gifted when it comes to creating, but I do follow instructions pretty well, so I love blogs for giving me a jump start. I usually take blog ideas and change them so they seem more like my own design. So much fun this week.
fun technique, love the colors you used and the whole design is great - done in other colors(and no sequins) would make a great guy card!
