Making Waves

I hope you've been enjoying all the fabulous inspiration so far during our blog blitz!

I've got a card for the guys today using the new Marina Sailboats dies and Sparkle Burst Stars.

I really went for a masculine feel by using wood paper for the tag, boat and waves.  I just love those wood grain lines on the sails of the boat!

There are two wave dies in the Marina set and I used both of them to create my waves and then coloured it with a Copic marker.

For the sun, I used part of the Sparkle Burst Stars die.  I coloured a piece of paper with an orange Copic, added dry adhesive to the coloured side and adhered it behind the sun die cut so that it would be sticky and I added clear micro beads to the sticky area to give the sun a bit of texture and shine.
