Beautiful Blooms

DSC_0164bb2

Hello! Today I am sharing this gorgeous new Kirby Blooms die!

DSC_0199bb2

This card was very easy to make. I cut the image out a few times then cut off a few blooms and leaves. Some of the blooms have three layers and a few of the tiny leaves have two layers. After I cut some of the blooms off I lightly sand the at the place where I cut so it's all smooth and doesn't look like I cut it with scissors.

When I first cut this die out I made a mistake and had the die facing the wrong way for cutting.  I was surprised to see this beautiful embossed image. I would never have thought to turn the image over to emboss. No foam pads or change in the layering . This happened to be a die that it left a nice impression. I added it to the inside of my card.

Love the card and your 'mistake'! LOL ;-)

me encanta la combinación de colores, ese suajecito de flores esta divino.

WOW...love how you cut out the flower for this card. It is very elegant and I'd love to own this die. Flowers are always fun to use on cards of all types.

Beautiful card, love the CAS elegance and the layering of the die xx

Love this die but especially the idea of a new way to use these dies to decorate the card.

I love the New Kirby Blooms - I use flowers a lot for my cards - also glad to know I'm not the only one who mistakenly runs the die through backwards - what a beautiful "mistake" (not!) - Thanks.

How beautiful!
Great die and
lovely card.

So beautiful! Wow, love this! Another die for my wish list!

Love the additional use you discovered....I was thinking I might try die cutting out of clear acetate or stencil material and making my own stencil...maybe for creating shadows or using embossing paste. Haven't got it all worked out in my head just yet. Great idea from you...thanks.

Marybeth love the way the die left that embossed image when you made that mistake. Looks great and really finishes the card off perfectly. Brilliant die

I love this card and your "mistake" is awesome - will have to try and use my dies more for embossing!

Simply lovely, Mary Beth! This die is beautiful and would always be a "go-to" for a pretty card.

Gorgeous. Its amazing to see the die when its cut, its beautiful. The layering looks wonderful and your embossed image for the inside, even though a mistake, is a great idea, love it.

Marybeth, this is one of the nicest cards I've seen, beautiful job!

Gorgeos card. I just purchased teh small Icelandic poppy and am having some issues putting it together. If one of the talented design team would do a video with it, I sure would appreciate it.

That is a beautiful bloom!!!

These are just gorgeous. Love the look.

Beautiful card! Love that new die - both versions are fantastic!

That is so beautiful. Such a gorgeous die it needs nothing else. Your card is perfect. Thanks for sharing. Hugz

Thank you so much for the opportunity! I'm in love with Blooms and the poppies that are red with Black just pop right off the project! I'm just starting a die collection where this beautiful design would be greatly loved!
