Wishing you Merry Christmas
Do you need a quick and simple card? Well this just might be the one. I know we are all busy this time of the year, and as the clock ticks toward Christmas, time is something we just don't have enough of.
Background dies are a great way to add dimension to the front of a card and still have a very pretty card to share. My photo doesn't show as well as I'd hoped, but I used a glittery background to show through the die cut words. As I was sitting at my desk, I saw the mirror silver letters that had fallen from an earlier cut I'd made. I decided to use the large MERRY and the script Christmas so I glued them in place. Can you see it? I hope so.
And for the quick inside....this is what I did.....
I love, love, love word dies. This Merry Christmas is perfect. It's oh so fancy (a word I love for some reason), and it's perfect for the inside or the outside of a card, yet big enough for a scrapbook layout. Do you recognize the die I used on the left side of the blue cardstock? If you look at the dies I used, you'll see that I altered this die. That's another good thing about dies, you can use the total die cut or pieces and parts. Good idea no? Why yes it is!
Today is baking day....I guess I should get my apron on and get busy. If I don't pop in again before Christmas, I'm sending wishes for a Most Merry Christmas.
Until next time.....
Hugs from me to you,
