Holiday Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Amy Tsuruta created an event on Facebook inviting lots of crafty friends to create a project inspired by their favorite drink  - it doesn't have to be coffee - and give it a little holiday spice!  Of course we want to play along.  You'll find lots of java, tea, and hot chocolate inspired project and have the opportunity to win a few prizes as well.  You can see the link up of all the projects here on her blog.
I used the Teacup Stack die on my design today.   I cut the design from my card base and inlaid a second cut from gold foil paper to make these extra fancy.

To add some holiday spice I added a border of gingham washi and a pretty layered poinsettia with some festive foliage
When I added the Happy Holiday sentiment over the teacups it looked a little "busy" so inlaid some white cutouts inside the letters.  If you look close you will see the inside of the fancy H is filled in.

[1086] DIES- Teacup Stack

We're giving away this teacup die to one lucky winner.   Just leave me a comment by December 14 to be entered to win.  The  winner will be posted here on December 20.

I may be too late. But I still wanted you to know that with nothing at stake, this card is really beautiful. As I stated in my comment on the previous page. It looks like times gone by. It does. It puts me in mind of a card Mom would have had when I was young and I just love how you stacked/arranged (pun) it all together. I'd feel honored to win the card. Thx, XX'S, LYNDA-BOUNTIFUL
