Happy Thanksgiving Everyone
I must say, I'm a little sad that the 2014 Thanksgiving Holiday will soon be just a memory and that Fall will soon make way for Winter. I love the colors of Fall and I don't think I'll ever be too old to kick my way through a pile of beautifully colored leaves. My card today was inspired by Fall! This card base was made using the last remaining pieces of card stock from projects I've made in previous months.
The Luxe background die gave my leaves and pine boughs the perfect place to live. The Maple Leaf with it's gold border are the perfect size to accent the corner. One of my friends told me she thought this corner looked like a corsage. I have to agree. The small gold leaf is from the Maple Leaf Border, a nice layer to add a bit of bling. Then of course there is the beautiful Thanks die, I've got to say, not too big and not too small, it's perfect. A bit of twine and lots of sequins and the front of this card is complete.
I like making the inside of cards as pretty as the outside. This time I created a spot to tuck in a thank you note. Using the Maple Leaf Border horizontally gave me the perfect place for the Thanks tag.
By making a tag, there is room for a short note, or if you need more space, the back of the tag will allow for a much longer note.
Enjoy your day. I'm off to have a peek at what everyone has been up to. Leave a comment and I'll drop by to see what you've been doing. I don't always comment, but please know, I look in on each of your blogs. There is lots of talent that's for sure.
Happy Thanksgiving and know I am so very Thankful for the inspiration each of you have given me.
Until next time, Happy Crafting!
